Ingredients of Veg Handi

  1. You need 2 cups of basmati rice ( soaked and half cooked.

  11. Prepare 2 tbsp of Ghee.

  13. It's 1 tbsp of Ginger garlic paste.
  14. Prepare 1 tsp of Haldi.
  15. You need 1 tbsp of Red chilli powder.
  16. You need 1 cup of Dhaniya and pudina.
  17. Prepare of Cashews nuts hand ful.
  18. It's 2 tbsp of Kismiss.
  19. Prepare 1 tsp of Lemon juice.
  20. You need to taste of Salt according.
  21. Prepare 2 of Green chillies.

Veg Handi step by step

  1. Take a bowl and mix the half boiled vegiees with curd dhaniya pudina haldi red chilli powder ginger garlic paste green chillies salt and half quantity of fried onions with 1/2 spoon ghee and lemon juice and keep aside for 15mins.
  2. Take a pan add little ghee heat it add all the khada masalas like cloves cinnamon elaichi bay leaves and to it add the mixture of vegetables.
  3. To this layer of rice add little dhaniya pudina green chilli and ghee fried onions cashews and kismiss.
  4. On top of this add the half boiled rice and last finish layer with repeat dhaniya pudina green chillies fried onions cashews kismiss and ghee.
  5. Before covering sprinkle a little kewra essence and cook it covered for 10 to 15 mins on low flame.
  6. Serve hot with raita.
  7. Recipe for raita take 1 cup curd and beat it well to it add a little milk mix and add chopped onions tomatoes salt jeera powder and black pepper with little fresh coriander leaves.
